You can easily enjoy this black. It's not bitter at all. I brew it in a Chemex and have had a great cup every time. First time ordering from Commonwealth Joe and would reorder without hesitation!

My family LOVES this Common Wealth Joes, especially the Tidewater Sunrise roast. It's pretty much a staple in our home at this point.

We had bought this roast previously and it was great!! The second bag tasted very rancid and bitter. I’d love to send it back for you to taste as well and send me a new bag.

We typically drink a medium or dark roast, but I'm glad we gave this one a try to switch things up. As soon as you open the bag, you'll know this one is different - lighter beans, sweeter smell. The description on the site "fruity, floral" is spot on. We have yet to find a Commonwealth Joe coffee we don't love.
