Delivery Technician Helper (NYC)
The Delivery Technician Helper represents the Commonwealth Joe brand to our clients through the delivery of Nitro Cold Brew coffee kegs to Commonwealth Joe wholesale & office accounts. This individual will perform light service and repairs to Nitro Cold Brew kegerators under the supervision of the Delivery Technician to ensure the delivery and/or work order is provided in a timely fashion and with the highest quality service.We’re a fast paced, collaborative, coffee-centric startup offering the potential for rapid professional growth and development. - You enjoy working with people and have the ability to maintain positive and professional relationships through offering excellent customer service.
- You currently hold and have held a valid driver's license for at least three years.
- You have at least three years of experience driving delivery trucks.
- You have at least one year of delivery experience in New York City.
- You are interested in learning and receiving on the job training in kegerator operations.
- You are able to handle heavy lifting (up to 55 lbs) regularly and are willing to physically load and unload vehicles on a daily basis.
- You own a personal cell phone (smart phone) newer than 2015 which can be used for day-to-day operations and communication with team members.
- Note:
- Driving record from DMV will be reviewed prior to hiring decision. Must not have any major driving violations.
- Drug test will be done prior to hiring.
- COVID Vaccination card required for role in New York City.
Core Functions and Responsibilities
- Assist Delivery Technician with the delivery of Nitro Cold Brew coffee kegs to Commonwealth Joe wholesale & office accounts across New York City.
- Perform light service and repairs to Nitro Cold Brew kegerators under the supervision of the Delivery Technician to ensure the delivery and/or work order is provided in a timely fashion and with the highest quality service.
- Ensure product quality is to the Commonwealth Joe standard.
- Light maintenance of Commonwealth Joe kegerators as needed including ensuring cleanliness and proper functions (under supervision of Delivery Technician)
- Maintain accurate transportation logs for every shift.
- Submit orders for replacement parts and provide suggested improvements.
- Ensure customer questions and concerns are accurately answered and/or routed.
- Assist the Delivery Technician with innovation strategies and in improving all aspects of deliveries, service requests, and standard operating procedures.
