Warehouse Senior Associate

The Warehouse Sr. Associate will play a vital role in managing the inventory, organization, protocol & processes in order to ensure the operations of all departments across each warehouse can function like a well-oiled machine. They are experienced and well-versed with the day-to-day labor and processes involved with all standard freight, production, equipment, and last-mile delivery needs. In addition, the Warehouse Sr. Associate is well versed with tech-based or computer-related management systems such as the Google Suite, spreadsheets & cwj.io. The Warehouse Sr. Associate is able to properly train employees in each respective field accordingly. The Warehouse Sr. Associate reports directly to the Director of Supply Chain, to ensure consistent day-to-day optimization of tasks as well as top-tier quality control for all assemblies and products.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have a reliable form of transportation Must be punctual and arrive on time consistently
  • Must be able to consistently work a minimum of 5 days per week (hours may vary based on company needs)
  • Must be able to lift at least 60+ pounds consistently
  • Must have experience with driving 16 - 26 ft box trucks & sprinter vans
  • Must have prior warehouse experience:
    • Electric & manual pallet jacks/pallet trucks
    • Forklifts
    • Hand trucks & dollies
    • Standard freight loading/unloading
    • Standard trash/recycling disposal
  • Must have prior experience with prepping, packaging, and palletizing procedures such as Poly/polyester strapping tools & equipment
    • Stretch wrapping
    • Organization & labeling
    • Must have basic mechanical skills such as: Experience with basic tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, clamps, etc…)
    • General handyman knowledge
    • Basic understanding of plumbing/liquid systems
    • Basic understanding of common electrical systems

 

  • Must have general tech knowledge & experience with the following:
    • Excel spreadsheets and/or Google Sheets
    • Computer & smartphone based inventory management systems
    • Using smartphone technology in a very fast-paced work environment
  • Time management, scheduling & general correspondence
  • Load/unload vehicles for local deliveries
  • Ability to read & follow product pick lists/work orders
  • Load/unload inbound & outbound freight shipments while logging outgoing/incoming inventory
  • Manage/maintain inventory schedules & logs for multiple warehouses & departments
  • Coordinate transfers of inventory from one warehouse to another
  • Provide accurate monthly summaries of inventory logs & transfers
  • Ensure proper FIFO/LIFO procedures are followed
  • Assist in training other team members in essential warehouse & equipment assembly-related tasks
  • Ability to communicate thoroughly with team leads and coworkers to optimize tasks
  • Clean and dispose of waste/recycling in warehouse and workspaces
  • Organize warehouse & refrigerated walk-in space throughout the day
  • Assist and provide quality control measures to all departments in their daily tasks
  • Maintain accurate shipping & inventory logs for every shift
  • Diagnose, repair, and assemble key parts of Commonwealth Joe coffee kegerators
  • Diagnose, test & evaluate liquid and gas systems
  • Ensure quality control procedures are enforced and followed across departments

  • You are able to handle heavy lifting (60+ lbs) consistently and are willing to physically load and unload vehicles
